21th International Symposium

After a major break in meetings a and conferences caused by the terrible COVID 19 pandemic, we are very happy to announce that the 21st International Symposium on Bioluminescence and Chemiluminescence and the XIX International Symposium on Luminescence Spectrometry will take place together, for the first time, from Tuesday 31 of May to Friday 3 of June 2022 in Gijon (Spain).

Conference venue: Gijon Convention Centre (Palacio de Congresos de Gijon). Recinto Ferial Luis Adaro - Av. Dr. Fleming, 481. Gijon. Spain.

Conference dates: 31st May to 3rd June, 2022.

For the first time, the ISBC and ISLS communities are gather to form a larger congress. The aim of the joint conference is to bring together researchers from all over the world working in the field of bioanalytical photoluminescence, bioluminescence, chemiluminescence and related disciplines. The scientific program will focus on current advances in the research of different methods and their interdisciplinary applications. Scientists, engineers, students, and professionals will discuss, exchange ideas, foster interaction between industry and academy through building multidisciplinary linkages, and disseminate the most recent advancements in the field.

This event is a four-day conference, including: plenary, invited and keynote sessions delivered by international recognized speakers; oral sessions where invited and selected contributions present their most relevant results; poster sessions for selected contributions and social activities.

Our utmost interest is to develop a scientific event that strengthens and combines our knowledge, and is an encouragement to continue the development of our scientific activity. We therefore wish and encourage you to participate and come to Gijon next May-June 2022.
